8mm cassette for vhs player

Does anyone know where I can get one of those VHS cassettes that you put an 8MM cassette into to play on a video player?? I cant find them anywhere!!!
Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

They ususally sell them at the bigger electronic stores such as comet and curry's. Else try Jessops. Is this maybe what you are looking for?

They do not exist. 8mm is a sony Proprietary format not campatible with VHS. At one time there were 8mm players available, but now you must make a copy from 8mm to VHS, DVD, VCD or whatever.

A VHS cassette that you can put your Hi-8 cassettes into, you mean? They definitely exist, I used to use one in America to play the night's footage back to the guys while we were on the road. Let me know if you come across one...

I'm of the opinion that that does not exist.

What does exist is VHS-C and S-VHS-C compact video cassettes that can be put into a full size VHS-C Adaptor.

The mini tape goes into the adaptor and then that plays in a regular VHS VCR.
